BLAKE
& WANG P.A. is dedicated to expanding access to entertainment lawyer counsel in the
entertainment and business community. Our lawyers provide exceptional services
to each client regardless of the scale of the project.
Although we work with Academy Award winning producers and directors, we
dedicate the same skill and energy to independent film, documentary, music, and
series pilot producers, directors, and writers. We offer the following
consultation and fee plans to our clients.

Telephone
Consultations
We
offer a fifteen-minute telephone consultation with one of our entertainment lawyers at no cost to you.

our consultations we will discuss the services provided by BLAKE & WANG and
the associated fees and costs. General
interest legal information can be found in the Film
& Television Law Quarterly, and in our selection of articles
made available on our site.
In-Person
Consultations
BLAKE
& WANG also provides in-person consultations with prospective clients for
reasonable rates. Initial
consultations are in sixty-minute increments and are charged at
our lawyers’ standard hourly rates. Such fees will be collected 24 hours before the
consultation begins. During
our consultations we will discuss the services provided by BLAKE & WANG and
the associated fees and costs. We credit initial consultation fees against work performed
for you later, making the initial consultation free to subsequent
clients.
Retainers and
Hourly Rates
If
you choose to work with us on an hourly basis, our lawyers will assess your
billing needs and arrange a reasonable retainer fee for you.
Retainers are a sum of money clients pay before the start of work.
We hold such retainer in trust for the client, and subtract our hourly
fees and costs from such retainer fee. Call for a consultation to discuss our
hourly rates and retainer fees.

Services, including corporations, LLCs, securities offerings, and
business plans. If you would like to retain a lawyer to represent your entire
project, our entertainment lawyers can work on a package basis.
Each lawyer can work with you to determine a single fee, paid before the
start of services, so that you can accurately budget the cost of legal
representation.
Deferred or
Contingency Billing
Unfortunately,
due to our commitments to existing clients, we cannot provide deferred or
contingency billing plans, regardless of the type of work or the quality of the
materials. Our rates are reasonable
and we will work with clients to make services affordable.
Many clients are pleased to find that they can afford high quality
entertainment legal counsel. We encourage pro-bono cases to contact a legal aid
association.
Visa and
MasterCard Accepted
For your convenience, we accept payment for all
services by Visa and MasterCard. A
small service charge may apply.
